finally.

after one somewhat unecessary trans-Atlantic round-trip, three weeks of grueling rehearsals, and three days of even harsher production rehearsals, we were finally able to get this show on the road last night. yesterday was quite an anxious day all-round; that is, until we hit the stage, at which point it became obvious that the folk of San Francisco were actually pretty stoked to have Kylie in their town. for me personally, it was a huge relief that i was able to get through the show without tripping on a cable, or otherwise falling over in the dark, or accidentally huffing the CO2 "steam" jets. the entire show was humilation-free. the lasers look so badass it's ridiculous, and the general opinion is that this was one of the best opening nights Kylie has ever had. it's nice of them to let me tag along. ha!
